EDP is a newly formed European association for the burgeoning digital print industry. It was established by seven of Europe's leading digital print magazines in October 2006 in Salzburg (Austria) that between them and the recently incorporated publications represent a readership of more than 1.000.000.
The goal of the EDP is to be a recognised industry forum and a valuable resource for association members.
A large part of its remit is to acknowledge and award the latest developments in R&D in the digital print industry and as a result EDP has launched its annual awards programme – the EDP Awards.
Throughout the year, each magazine will be publicising the awards both in-magazine and on-line by means of editorial and a major European advertising campaign.
An EDP award is synonymous with innovation and quality, and a product that is given such an accolade will be able to use the distinctive EDP logo on all its advertising and product marketing collateral to demonstrate its superior standing in the market place.
The founding magazine members of the EDP believe that these awards will become an authority in acknowledging best in class products across the digital print landscape, and we look forward to working with you all.
