Desktop Dialog was founded in 1987. The ‘publishing magazine’ is the leading independent German trade journal for digital publishing. The editorial policy is to report in detail on all the process technologies that relate to this field. In addition to the different sections about various aspects of publishing that appear regularly, each monthly issue also includes a supplement in which the results of intensive research into new markets, technologies and services are summarised. These supplements are generally produced in an extra print run of 25,000 copies, with the aim of introducing the magazine to new readers in many different areas.

Founded at the beginning of the new millennium, an extension of Print & Publishing was created: Plakativ, the most important Hungarian magazine dedicated to in- and outdoor media and large format printing.
